Providing Support

For many years, Kyra dreamed of having a foundation, and that dream was realized in 2022 when she established On the 5 – The Kyra Elzy Foundation. Kyra credits her success in life in part to the support she received from her family and members of the LaGrange (Oldham County) community, and she wants to provide the same support to girls and young women. The train tracks in the On the 5 logo represent the train that runs down the center of the town and serves as a reminder that you can get on the track and go anywhere you want to go if you “stay on track.”

The Kyra Elzy Foundation focuses on middle school girls in grades 6th-8th, and its ultimate purpose is to give our future leaders the tools they need to achieve their heart’s desire. Kyra believes there is no dream that cannot be attained, and impossible is POSSIBLE!

The Foundation has held two Give Back Camps in LaGrange (Oldham County High School, 2022) and Lexington (Tates Creek High School, 2023).
